After decades of falling into gradual disrepair, the Port of Everett in Washington State successfully restored and reopened its historic Weyerhaeuser Building, reimagining it as a vibrant community gathering space and living monument to the area’s rich history. After the structural improvements were made, the next step was to design and build an equally visually stunning website spotlighting Weyerhaeuser’s unique backstory while also showcasing its present offerings.
The result:
Cord Media created weyerhaeusermusehistory.com, essentially an online museum, that can be accessed via QR code to learn more about the history of the 100-year-old building, as well as the coffeehouse and whiskey bar that now occupy it. We also incorporated fascinating tales of kidnappings and famous tenants along with details about the growth of the region.
